ruby-fssm software package provides Ruby library firing events when the state of monitored paths changes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-fssm
ruby-fssm is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-fssm package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-fssm *
You will get with ruby-fssm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
